I  joined the practice in April 2013. I qualified from St Bartholomew’s and The Royal London in 2006 and completed my GP training in Somerset. I took my first position in a GP Surgery in Glastonbury where I spent a year working before returning to my childhood home in the Cotswolds and joined The White House Surgery as a salaried GP covering clinics at both Blockley, Four Shires Medical Centre and also the Ward rounds at North Cotswold Hospital. I am a keen athlete and often at the weekends you will find me competing in triathlons, training in the outdoor lakes, pounding the streets with my beloved dog or cycling the country lanes checking out the new bakeries around the Cotswolds. I have an interest in women’s health and palliative care.

I was the first family member to go to University aged 18, qualifying as a doctor in 1986 from Birmingham Medical School. It was a privilege to serve my community in South Birmingham as a senior partner for three plus decades living within a few hundred yards from the surgery. I was supported by my GP wife and menopause specialist, alongside our four children and much chaos! I led Birmingham South Central CCG for 6 years and run a domestic violence charity that helps women recover from their trauma. I enjoy being part of the fantastic White House staff as a regular locum and specialise in family practice with an interest in HRT, mental health and trauma recovery. I believe strongly in the doctor- patient partnership with its potential to heal and find better outcomes.
