All surgeries run by appointments. These are generally ten minutes in length, although longer appointments are made for certain procedures which would include vaccinations, travel advice, medical examinations and dressings.

We provide a number of Emergency Appointments each day at the end of each surgery. These are for acute emergencies which cannot wait until the next available routine appointment. Please note these appointments are five minutes only to deal with an emergency problem and should not be used for routine problems.

Unfortunately, because some problems are complex, patients may take longer than the allotted time. Doctors and Nurses may run late with their surgeries and we respectfully ask patients to bear this in mind if this does happen to them.
