Salaried GP (4-7 sessions)

We have an exciting opportunity for a committed, enthusiastic salaried GP to join our rural dispensing North Cotswolds Practice.

  • We are a patient population of 5050
  • SystmOne IT clinical system
  • A small, friendly, very supportive team
  • We have a clinical team of, 2 GP Partners, 1 Salaried GP, Senior Prescribing Nurse, Practice Nurse, HCA – currently completing Nurse Associate programme, HCA and Phlebotomist. GP Consultations are 15minutes and a mixture of face to face and telephone.
  • Dispensing Practice, 4 qualified dispensers, 5 reception care navigators, 2.5 medical secretaries, IT administrator and Practice Manager.
  • We are part of the North Cotswolds Primary Care Network Group, 5 practices across the Cotswolds working collectively. We share 5 Clinical Pharmacist, a Pharmacy Technician, Care-Navigator and PCN Business Manager.
  • Frailty Nurse and Social Prescribers
  • Based in a purpose built modern Medical Centre with onsite parking on the edge of town. Sharing the site with North Cotswolds Hospital.

Medical Reception Care Navigator

An opportunity for an enthusiastic, hardworking individual to join our busy, supportive friendly team. The role will be to provide administrative support to the clinical team, assist patients with queries, ensure efficient use of the appointment booking system, processing confidential patient data, action new patient registrations. You will signpost patients to the necessary service, liaising with local services and secondary care.

Reception is the central contact point of the surgery, responsibilities include providing a professional, positive, and friendly image. You will be able to distribute enquiries, both clinical and non-clinical amongst the team. You will be able to remain calm working efficiently under pressure. Teamwork and effective communication is essential. You will need to be proactive and use initiative, flexible, with good IT skills and the ability to multitask and prioritise your workload.
Previous experience of working in a GP Surgery or the NHS would be an advantage.

The successful candidate will be required to partake and complete ongoing mandatary training and complete a DBS check.

Job Types: Part-time, approximately 25.5hours per week,

The surgery is open from 8am until 6:30pm therefore shifts would within these hours
