We would like to say thank you to all our patients for being so helpful and understanding when booking in their Covid vaccination appointments over the last week. It’s been rather hectic but we did our best to contact and accommodate as many patients aged over 80yrs as we possibly could, as well as those patients who are employed within a Care Home.
We are awaiting a possibly delivery next week to begin vaccinating resident Care Home patients.
If for any reason you are in the this age group but have not been contacted or were unable to attend the offered appointment please call the Surgery to advise us and we will contact you when the next delivery of the vaccine is with us.
Any patients that are housebound and on our housebound register, under the District Nurse or had a flu vaccine at home will be contacted in the New Year by a mobile team who will be carrying out the programme at home. If you are not sure you are on our register please contact the surgery.
There will be further appointments made available in the New Year, once we have confirmation of the next delivery of the vaccine we will be in touch with the next cohort of patients which will be those patients aged 75yrs and over.
Please could I ask that all patients make sure their contact details are up to date at the surgery, if you use a mobile phone please make sure these details are correct as we are able to send text messages with appointment details. Those without mobile numbers will be called by the surgery.
Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and Happy Health New Year
from all at the White House Surgery
